Your only as strong as your weakest link

"In a nutshell imbalances contribute to injuries and limit strength potential so a good strength coach needs to address these things before implementing and strength & conditioning program for any athlete no matter what sport. This assessment is crucial for program design and something I learnt from a coach you may never of heard of Charles Poliquin who was and still is I beleive the most successful strength coach in history with over trainiing over 600 olympians and several pro-athletes such as the NFL, NBA, etc. 
After this assessment then exercises which valuable for the athletes sport are selected then planned depending on where the athlet is in their season.
